The Deep Cut Blade Holder positions the blade to exactly the right place to cut and is great to keep your blade safe and out of the way.

Furthermore, you can adjust the blade depth setting on the cartridge itself, according to the thickness of your material. If the blade depth is not immediately working for you, do some test runs until you are happy with the depth.

The Brother ScanNCut Deep Cut Blade Holder is for use together with the Deep Cut Blade on your Brother ScanNCut machine.
